TFT’s high temperature aircraft ice-control nozzles have been designed to apply deicing fluids at elevated temperatures up to 210°F (99C). There are two deicing nozzle pressures available.
One choice is a 100 PSI nozzle (7 bar, 700 KPA). It can be used for standard wing and fuselage deicing operations from an elevated basket or at ground level for under the wing and landing gear applications. This series is available with a pistol grip with either a lever type valve control or Impulse trigger type valve control for operation of the turbulence-free slide valve. Models without a pistol grip are also available for swivel gun mounting.
This second series is a 150 PSI (10.3 bar, 1030 KPA) nozzle designed for longer reach and higher impact to flake off heavy ice and snow quickly and safely. This series is available in three configurations:
- choices of pistol grip with either a bale handle or trigger operation of the turbulence-free slide valve
- without a pistol grip for swivel gun mounting
- with electric remote pattern adjustment for boom mounting
