MISSION STATEMENT: TFT is a worldwide leader in providing first responders with high quality, innovative agent delivery solutions.

COMPANY HISTORY:Ever since the invention of the fire pump, firefighters have been plagued with the difficulty of obtaining correct nozzle pressures for nozzles. Based on a simple and reliable design, Task Force Tip nozzles solve this dilemma by constantly adjusting to the varying pressures of the hoseline. First developed by Clyde McMillan, the Company is still managed with the personal touch of the McMillan family. Over the years, many additional products have evolved to make firefighting more effective and safer for firefighters around the world. As a result, the company which first started in the family basement has grown many times to meet the expanding market demands. A constant interest in staying on the leading edge of technology, the in-depth use of computerization at all levels, and strong desire for continuing innovative research and development, has made Task Force Tips one of the leading companies in the fire industry.

Task Force Tips moved into its present facility in April of 1987. We are continually adding additional computerized machines and support equipment to our plant. Additional personnel have been hired for our production and assembly divisions with an outlook for additional employees in the future. We have sales in all parts of the United States and over thirty (30) foreign countries.

At TFT employees are our most valuable asset. The company works continually with employees to make their work experience both enjoyable as well as productive. We are a proactive employer and are constantly looking for ways to improve the workplace and quality of the work environment. The "team spirit" and goal oriented nature allow employees to meet personal goals while achieving the objectives and goals of the expanding company. Each employee's personal involvement and enthusiasm has resulted in record breaking months for Products produced and shipped. The entire TFT "family" is firmly dedicated to excellence and performance as well as unmatched customer service. With this much interest in achieving top performance in all areas, success is sure to result.

As a leading manufacturer of fluid delivery equipment, it was only a matter of time before Task Force Tips determined that many of the features designed into our fire fighting products would be beneficial to the airline industry in the performance of critical aircraft ice control fluids applications. Leading airlines were contacted to determine their deicing application methods, fluids and equipment and what was needed for superior performing deicing and anti-icing application nozzles. Many of the same features such as the operator flow control slide valve, automatic pressure regulation, flush without shutting down and the durability to hold up for years of rugged use. The benefits of the TFT design allows for quicker deicing of aircraft with the reach and impact needed to break away heavy snow and ice, as well as the gentle application of anti-icing fluids just prior to take off, and an overall reduction in fluid waste.

After some slight modifications to accommodate the high temperatures of the glycol based deicing fluids and determining the flows and pressures required for high performance and least degradation of anti-icing fluids, TFT has set the standard for ice control nozzles worldwide. Our nozzles are standard on most deicing vehicles and systems manufactured in North America and have been in use for nearly 20 years.

Of course our deicing nozzles are covered by our same five-year written warranty and 24-hour turnaround factory repair that our fire fighting nozzles enjoy.
